I'm Shocked...

Ok, this was not the blog I was expecting to write today. Last night USC took on unranked Oregon State. In 2006 Oregon State also upset USC, so I was hoping it wouldn't happen again. But part of the exciting thing of watching college football is that it's unpredictable. Any team, even the #1 ranked team, can lose on any given day.

Oregon State just completely out played us. From the first moments on the field, their defensive line stopped us and their offensive line ran right through us. USC is suppose to have an amazing defensive line this year, but Oregon State just ran right through and made it look easy. Their 5'6" FRESHMAN Jacquizz Rodgers ran for 184 yards and 2 touchdowns and just couldn't be stopped! Several times he got away from several USC defensive lineman who should have had him and instead he gained another 10 yards. It was impressive.

Oregon State played incredibly well and we were obviously having a bad day. They deserved the win... although it better not happen again!!!
